Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an on-site Community Manager to oversee all operations of a housing community under the Regional Manager. You will supervise staff across leasing, maintenance, and administration, ensuring compliance with policies, safety standards, and fair housing guidelines while driving occupancy and profitability.

The role requires hands-on leadership, budgeting skills, and experience with affordable housing programs; regular on-site attendance is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or four years’ experience in housing industry.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations of a housing community on-site under Regional Manager.
• Supervise staff, leasing, maintenance, financials, administration & risk management.
• Develop yearly operating budgets and marketing plans; monitor rent collections and vendor invoices.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards and fair housing guidelines.
• Lead emergency response for the property and ensure timely reporting and repairs.
