Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Community Manager to oversee all operations of a housing community on-site, reporting to the Regional Manager. You will manage personnel, leasing, maintenance, and administration in compliance with company policies and fair housing guidelines.

You will lead a team, screen and develop staff, develop annual budgets, monitor rents and vendor invoices, and implement marketing and resident-retention programs to maximize net operating income.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or 4 years housing industry experience.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with on-site software systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations of a housing community on-site under Regional Manager guidance.
• Supervise staff, leasing activities, maintenance, and administration while ensuring policy compliance and fair housing guidelines.
• Develop yearly operating budgets/forecasts and monitor deposits, rent collections, and vendor invoices.
• Lead strategic leasing management and marketing plans to maximize occupancy and NOI.
• Handle resident concerns, implement retention programs, and ensure timely reporting and documentation.
