Job summary

AES Indiana is seeking a Strategic Accounts Manager to deliver superior service to our largest utility accounts and be the single point of contact for customers' needs.

You will handle reliability, billing, service expansions, and program coordination while supporting our digital transformation initiatives.

This role requires a Bachelor’s in engineering or business, 5+ years in energy or customer management, and strong Excel/data reporting and stakeholder skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business.
• 5+ years in energy industry or customer management.
• Comfortable with energy systems, programs, terminology for commercial/industrial settings.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and data reporting.
• Enjoy working with customers and external stakeholders.
• Able to respond to emergencies and customer needs on short notice.
• Interested in fast-changing energy with renewables and distributed energy.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a positive customer experience for designated Strategic Accounts as the single contact.
• Assist with billing, reliability, service expansions, and metering requirements.
• Support development and implementation of customer programs in progress.
• Coordinate interconnections and net metering with required documentation and reporting.
• Assist Service Operations in emergency restoration and storm response communication.
• Provide 24/7 availability to respond to emergency outages.
