Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Customer Engagement Manager to oversee a portfolio of local and select national accounts, driving sales through the Ryder Sales Process and expanding wallet share.

You will understand customers’ business goals and coordinate with Ryder teams to deliver services and improve satisfaction. This role requires strong account management, negotiation, and pricing skills, with travel greater than 60%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or transportation, or equivalent experience.
• 2 years or more experience providing service to customers.
• 2 years or more experience selling to customers.

Responsibilities

• Attain or exceed assigned sales quotas and profit targets. Maintain regular and consistent in person and virtual contact with customers to meet customer requirements.
• Develop a sales penetration plan to expand Ryder’s wallet share. Segment account base by opportunity for growth, renewal and potential for risk of loss.
• Proactively anticipate problems through continuous dialogue with customer & Ryder staff. Supply customer with information regarding operational performance.
