Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a National Rental Customer Development Manager to manage a key book of national rental accounts. The role emphasizes retaining and expanding wallet share while keeping customers satisfied and aligned with company growth strategies.

This is a 100% sales position with significant travel; the ideal candidate will be based in the West or Central regions and operate remotely. A bachelor’s degree in business/marketing and a proven sales track record are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business and/or Marketing or equivalent experience.
• Five (5) years or more of experience in sales or related roles.
• Prior experience in rental/account management or business development is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages a book of approximately 100 top national rental accounts.
• Grows wallet share and revenue within assigned national rental accounts.
• Develops sales plans and a communication plan for each assigned account.
• Schedules and leads customer meetings and builds relationships at all levels.
• Attends customer events and trade shows as applicable.
• Completes annual business reviews with assigned customers.
• Analyzes profitability and understands competitive dynamics within each account.
• Partners with RAMs to develop their skills and growth potential.
