Job summary

Cadence Design Systems in San Jose is seeking an Account Executive to lead adoption of Cadence's software, hardware, services and IP portfolio within focused accounts. You will drive pre/post-sales campaigns, forecast, quote, negotiate and close strategic opportunities, while building executive relationships across customer organizations.

The role requires deep EDA knowledge and cross-functional collaboration with Marketing and R&D to align roadmaps and deliver long-term value.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of EDA software, IP and business processes.
• Design flow expertise and IC/system design experience.
• Proven ability to influence at executive levels and negotiate.
• 8+ years in related field; BS EE/MS in engineering or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre/post-sales campaigns and drive portfolio adoption.
• Forecast, quote, negotiate and close strategic opportunities.
• Coordinate with WW sales, Cadence Marketing/R&D to align roadmaps and solutions.
• Build and maintain relationships with C-suite stakeholders across customer organizations.
