Job summary
Autodesk is seeking a remote-based Technical Sales professional within the United States. You will partner with account-based sales executives and Channel Partners to drive new sales growth in Design and Manufacturing, translating customer issues into technical solutions.
You will report to the Technical Sales Manager and work from home with travel to customers. Responsibilities include leading discovery, building business cases, delivering compelling presentations, and aligning Autodesk tools
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering.
- 7+ years of experience in the Engineering industry.
- Technical knowledge using Autodesk Design and Manufacturing solutions such as Inventor, Vault, AutoCAD, Fusion Manage, or similar.
- Selling and persuasion.
- Ability to travel up to 50-70% to customers and Autodesk sponsored events.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate customer strategies and align Autodesk offerings to goals.
- Be the primary technology expert in account teams.
- Build technical business cases through discovery workshops.
- Present discovery findings and solutions to customers.
- Own technical relationship management with internal SMEs.
- Develop advocates within accounts to influence outcomes.
- Demonstrate thought leadership to differentiate Autodesk.
