Job summary

WP Engine is seeking an experienced Customer Success Manager to serve as the trusted advisor for a portfolio of high-value customers. You will develop account strategies, drive revenue retention and growth, and coordinate with sales, product, and support teams to deliver exceptional solutions aligned to customers’ business goals.

You will manage executive relationships, monitor health metrics, and lead renewal conversations to maximize customer lifetime value while advocating for customers

Qualifications

• Five+ years of proven experience in account or customer success management, with a track record of meeting and exceeding revenue and growth goals.
• Bachelor's degree in business related field.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency with CRM software (Salesforce, Gainsight).

Responsibilities

• Cultivate and maintain executive-level partnerships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within an account portfolio.
• Develop and implement strategic account plans with clear objectives and goals.
• Monitor usage, adoption, and churn risk; conduct regular business reviews with customers.
• Own retention and renewal lifecycle for Enterprise & Mid-Market accounts; negotiate terms and manage contracts.
• Identify expansion opportunities and collaborate with Sales to close new business within existing accounts.
• Triage and resolve customer questions and complex technical issues with cross-functional teams.
