Job summary

Relation Insurance Inc. is seeking an Account Manager, Small Business Unit, to oversee client relationships, advise on coverage and risk management, and align insurance programs with long-term goals.

You will lead proposals, loss analyses, and renewals while leveraging AI-enabled tools to enhance service. The role requires a Property and Casualty license, 5+ years in commercial lines account management, and strong analytical and presentation skills.

Qualifications

• Must have a Property and Casualty license; designations (AINS, CIC, CPCU, ARM) are a plus.
• Minimum 5 years account management experience in the insurance industry with a focus on commercial lines.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus or required in some locations.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; strong Excel and Word skills; ability to present.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main client contact, guiding coverage changes and policy details.
• Partner in strategic development of tailored insurance plans.
• Act as field underwriter and bind coverage with carriers.
• Oversee renewals remarketing to maintain high client retention.
• Prepare proposals, loss evaluations, risk analyses, and binders; explain billing options.
