Job summary

Ohio Gratings seeks an Account Manager to maintain and grow customer relationships, quote accurately, and present solutions across product offerings. You will be the primary client contact, respond to inquiries, and manage orders while tracking quotes for metals and special requests.

Qualifications

• Associates or BS in sales, business management or related field.
• Minimum of one year of demonstrated sales experience.
• Experience with metals preferred.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, PERT/GANT charts, and MRP/ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Be a knowledgeable resource to the customer by asking the right questions to prepare accurate quotes.
• Establish and maintain business relationships with each customer.
• Primary contact for clients and customers.
• Promptly respond to inquiries and enter orders accurately.
• Track quotes including aluminum, heavy duty steel, and special requests.
• Ensure quotes have complete specifications and details.
• Pricing authority on quotes up to a pre-approved limit and review larger quotes with sales management.
• Maintain updates on lost business weekly.
• Enter and maintain client information in the system.
• Make order changes to service customers’ needs.
• Other duties as assigned.
