Job summary

Brenntag Southwest, LLC seeks an Account Manager to lead sales in the Louisiana territory through consultative, face-to-face engagement and value-based selling. You will identify opportunities, coordinate with product and sales teams, and maximize gross profit by serving existing customers and pursuing new leads.

Responsibilities include regular customer visits, CRM data upkeep, proposal preparation, and forecasting.

Qualifications

• Preferably post-secondary education in business, science or equivalent.
• 3 to 5 years experience in a sales role, preferably chemical distribution.
• Strong Excel/Word/PowerPoint and CRM skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Customer-centric mindset with strategic thinking and travel willingness.

Responsibilities

• Meet sales objectives and focus on customer retention and satisfaction.
• Identify opportunities for cross- and range-selling with existing customers and new leads.
• Set growth strategies and targets in the territory and align with Sales Manager.
• Conduct customer visits, prepare meetings, and close proposals.
• Maintain CRM data, manage pipelines, and provide regular forecasts.
