Job summary

ERMCO is seeking a Strategic Account Manager to grow relationships with key customers and deliver tailored distribution transformer solutions. The role is remote within AZ, FL, GA, IL, KS, MA, MI, NC, NE, SD, TN, TX, WI, and WY, with relocation assistance and travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in strategic account management, sales, or business development.
• Proven success managing complex customer relationships and driving revenue growth.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze data and develop actionable account strategies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve sales targets.
• Maintain relationships with assigned strategic accounts to ensure loyalty.
• Identify and pursue growth opportunities within strategic accounts.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product Development, and Operations.
• Serve as a trusted advisor, aligning ERMCO’s offerings to client needs.
• Prepare and present regular business reviews, forecasts, and plans.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing in line with guidelines.
• Monitor market trends and customer feedback to adjust plans.
• Travel to customer sites and industry events as needed (up to 50%).
