Job summary

ERMCO is seeking a Strategic Account Manager in the United States to lead relationships with key customers in the distribution transformer sector. You will develop deep account insights, craft tailored solutions, and drive long-term partnerships across internal teams.

This remote role covers multiple states (AZ, FL, GA, IL, KS, MA, MI, NC, NE, SD, TN, TX, WI, WY) with up to 50% travel and relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of strategic account management, sales, or business development experience.
• Proven success managing complex customer relationships and driving revenue growth.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze data and develop actionable account strategies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base within the distribution transformer industry.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with assigned strategic accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Identify and pursue growth opportunities within strategic accounts to maximize revenue and profitability.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams including Sales, Marketing, Product Development, and Operations to deliver customer-centric solutions.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to customers by understanding their business challenges and aligning ERMCO's offerings accordingly.
• Prepare and present regular business reviews, forecasts, and account plans to both customers and internal leadership.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing in alignment with company guidelines and customer expectations.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform strategic account management plans.
• Ensure timely resolution of customer issues and escalations to maintain positive relationships.
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
• Travel required to customer sites and industry events (up to 50%).
