Job summary

Heilind Electronics is seeking a Sales Support professional to develop sales and back up for Customer Business Specialists and Branch Management for assigned accounts in Lumberton, NJ. The role emphasizes direct customer interaction, pricing negotiations, and coordinating internal resources to meet customer needs.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree or 2+ years in industrial sales, proficient in Office tools, and familiar with OPTRAK or Dem ID. On-site workdays are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 2+ years of related experience in industrial sales is required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to report to the assigned office location (Lumberton, NJ) on scheduled in-office workdays.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with sales tracking software such as OPTRAK or Dem ID.

Responsibilities

• Develop Sales and provide sales support for new accounts and act as primary back up sales support for Customer Business Specialists and Branch Management for assigned accounts.
• Manage and direct internal and external resources to meet or exceed new and assigned customer expectations.
• Interview callers and assigned customers to determine their product and service needs.
• Develop and promote product sales for new accounts and additional sales for existing accounts.
• Promote and sell Heilind's services including value-added enhancements, programs, automation, and E-store, to new and existing accounts.
• Persuade or influence new or existing customers to purchase Heilind products and services.
• Keep new and assigned accounts satisfied through sales of products and services, administering accurate and timely process transactions, developing solid working relationships, responding to calls, emails, letters, and faxes.
• Develop and execute effective quoting strategies by collaborating with Customer Business Managers, Sales Management and Product Management.
• Negotiate product pricing, returns and credits with new and assigned customers.
• Determine and negotiate delivery methods and time frames with new and assigned customers.
• Support Customer Business Managers to solidify business at assigned accounts.
• Provide sales administrative and backup support for other Sales team members.
