Job summary

Liberty Packaging in Poway, CA, is seeking a Senior Account Manager to grow our business by winning new customers and expanding existing relationships. You will drive go-to-market strategies, identify decision-makers, and work with internal teams to deliver custom packaging solutions that meet customer needs.

This role reports to the Sales Director - Southwest Packaging and emphasizes building long-term partnerships, achieving sales targets, and delivering margin improvement for our customers

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED with 5+ years in sales, or a bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Experience planning, implementing, and analyzing new sales strategies.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Strong prospecting and business development skills.
• Excellent communication and decisive problem-solving abilities.
• Results-oriented with urgency and deadline focus.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to win new business and grow existing accounts.
• Identify decision-makers and reach them with effective GTM approaches.
• Close opportunities and manage customer relationships.
• Collaborate with design, pricing, customer service, and production to tailor packaging solutions.
• Monitor market trends and maintain high service levels.
• Support logistics and cross-functional teams to ensure on-time delivery.
• Other duties as assigned.
