Job summary

Liberty Diversified International in Poway, CA is seeking a Senior Account Manager to drive growth by winning new business and expanding existing relationships within the packaging sector. You will lead a go-to-market strategy and coordinate with design, pricing, production, and logistics to deliver customized packaging solutions that meet customer needs.

Travel up to 75% locally; a high school diploma with 5+ years of sales experience or a related bachelor's degree is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 5+ related sales experience, or Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Business or related field in lieu of experience.
• Experience planning, implementing, and analyzing new sales strategies.
• Experience in a manufacturing organization is a plus.
• Strong prospecting and business development skills.
• Excellent communication and decision-making skills.
• Ability to travel locally outside of home office up to 75% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Build and execute a sales and marketing strategy to capture new business at existing customers and identify new customers in various industries.
• Drive new sales opportunities by identifying key decision-makers and reaching them with Go-To-Market strategies.
• Initiate customer relationships and close business using a proven sales process.
• Collaborate with design, pricing, customer service, estimating, production, procurement, and logistics to design packaging solutions meeting customer needs.
• Manage customer expectations and provide excellent service experience.
• Cultivate long-term customer relationships to meet ongoing packaging needs.
