Qualifications

• 5+ years of related sales experience or a Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business or related field.
• Experience planning, implementing, and analyzing new sales strategies.
• Experience in a manufacturing organization is a plus.
• Strong prospecting and business development skills.
• Excellent communication and decision-making skills.
• Ability to travel locally up to 75% of the time, occasional extended travel.

Responsibilities

• In partnership with the area Sales Manager, build and execute a sales and marketing strategy to capture new business at existing customers and identify new customers.
• Drive new sales opportunities by identifying key decision-makers and creating the right approach to reach them.
• Initiate customer relationships and close business utilizing a proven sales process.
• Collaborate with internal teams to design custom packaging solutions that meet customer needs.
• Manage customer expectations and provide an excellent customer service experience.
• Cultivate long-term customer relationships to meet ongoing packaging needs.
• Monitor market, customer, and consumer trends that impact the business.
• Other duties, as assigned.
