Job summary

Interstate Batteries in the Washington, DC area is seeking an Account Executive to lead and grow a regional customer base of WD and Regional accounts. Under limited supervision, you will drive profitable growth, manage pricing, and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver on strategic plans.

Travel 25–40% to engage customers and HQ, build relationships, present quarterly business reviews, and ensure alignment with our Purpose and Values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years’ experience in Automotive/Commercial aftermarket.
• Sales/account management experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage projects.
• Willingness to travel 25–40%.

Responsibilities

• Manages multiple WD and Regional customers and leverages internal resources to grow the book of business.
• Leads and manages account plans weekly with support from a cross-functional core team.
• Presents updated growth plans and account plans to leadership.
• Schedules business meetings and quarterly reviews with cross-functional teams.
• Responsible for pricing actions and customer engagement reporting.
