Job summary

Veritiv Corp in New Jersey seeks an Account Executive, Cold Chain Packaging, to target and win high-value opportunities with local and regional accounts. The role requires a hunter mindset, collaboration with packaging, operations, and procurement decision makers, and a smooth handoff to post-sale teams.

You will work with leadership to shape strategy, develop proposals, and maintain an active sales pipeline, while negotiating contracts and driving revenue growth across the vertical.

Qualifications

• Experience in developing and executing plans to win new business in targeted segments.
• Experience in selling to accounts within the identified vertical market.
• 7–10 years of business development or cold chain packaging experience preferred.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Customer-focused mindset with strong market knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Target and close high-value revenue opportunities with local and regional accounts.
• Collaborate with leadership to set strategy and quotas for vertical opportunities.
• Develop proposals and maintain a robust sales pipeline.
• Partner with regional teams to turn opportunities into closed deals.
• Draft contracts with legal to protect company interests.
