Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a Workforce Absence Operations Manager to oversee technical and operational functions, ensuring adherence to company standards and industry best practices. This role manages staffing, training, and budget oversight, with direct responsibility for fewer than 25 colleagues.

The position is based across Sedgwick’s center network, with a hybrid work arrangement and preferred presence near one of the listed centers.

Qualifications

• Eight (8) years claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required to include two (2) years supervisory experience.
• Licenses and professional certifications appropriate to line of business preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees internal quality review process and reports monthly.
• Ensures compliance with client internal controls, audit requirements and service agreement requirements.
• Establishes business plan with goals and objectives for assigned clients.
• Ensures claims management policies and procedures are followed to meet service standards and client requirements.
• Establishes and maintains client contacts.
