Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a Workforce Absence Operations Manager to oversee technical and operational functions, quality delivery, staffing, training, and budget/P&L management. The role reports to leadership and has direct responsibility for fewer than 25 colleagues.

This position requires a bachelor’s degree, extensive claims management experience, and strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills. Hybrid onsite work is available across various U.S.

Qualifications

• Eight (8) years claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience; includes two (2) years supervisory experience.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; licenses as required.
• Professional certifications appropriate to line of business preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees internal quality review process and reports monthly.
• Ensures compliance with client internal controls, audit requirements and service agreements.
• Establishes business plan with goals and objectives for assigned clients.
• Ensures claims management policies and procedures are followed to meet service standards, statutes/regulations, and client requirements.
• Establishes and maintains client contacts.
