Job summary

Axis Communications AB is seeking an A&E Regional Manager to cover New England and Upstate NY, preferably Boston area. You will act as a credible technical advisor on networked physical security, cybersecurity, and system design, while driving specifications and expanding the A&E program.

The role involves frequent in-person and virtual meetings, travel around the territory, and collaboration with sales teams to align on strategic initiatives and customer needs.

Qualifications

• 10 years in physical security, mix of presales, integration or consulting.
• Proactive, self-driven business development or field sales track record.
• Solid understanding of IP-based security systems (video, access control, intercom).
• Strong grasp of networking, system design, and cybersecurity principles.
• Ability to speak credibly to engineers and business decision-makers.
• Salesforce or CRM fluency and methodical territory management.
• Confident public speaker and skilled relationship builder.

Responsibilities

• Be the Expert: serve as trusted technical advisor to architects, engineers, and security consultants.
• Drive Specifications: cultivate long-term, consultative relationships to have Axis written into project specs.
• Lead with Presence: conduct high-quality meetings in person and virtually across the territory.
• Grow the Program: expand the Axis A&E Program through outreach, training, and networking.
• Collaborate for Impact: align with Regional Sales Managers, Inside Sales, and the A&E Program Manager.
• Leverage Axis Tools: demonstrate Axis Site Designer, Revit plugins, and other design resources.
• Support Events & Trade Shows: represent Axis at conferences, trade shows, and summits.
• Own Your Region: build/execute a regional business plan, maintain CRM, report KPIs.
