Job summary

Axis Communications in New York City is seeking a Field Sales Engineer to support sales growth in the territory and collaborate with Regional Sales Managers on pre- and post-sales activities. The role involves designing site surveys, camera placements, and delivering customer-focused training.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in a customer-facing pre-sales role in network video or security, a relevant Bachelor's degree (or 10+ years of experience), and are willing to travel up to 75% regionally or

Qualifications

4+ years in a customer-facing pre-sales role in network video or physical security.
Bachelor's Degree in CS/CE/Network Eng or Info Systems, or 10+ years related industry experience.
Axis Certified Professional preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide pre- and post-sales support in the territory.
Execute high-level system designs, site surveys, camera placement, FOV, bandwidth and BOM calculations, and CAD drawings.
Collaborate across departments to meet expectations and performance goals.
Construct and deliver technology and customer-specific training.
Support and maintain an Axis Experience Center.
Attend and represent Axis at trade shows and events as needed.
Travel regionally and internationally up to 75%.
Prioritize projects and travel effectively.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
