Job summary

Raytheon is seeking a highly skilled Chief Engineer to lead the StormBreaker program in Tucson. You will drive the technical vision, oversee production, and coordinate across multiple IPTs and customers. This role requires a DoD Secret clearance and 12+ years in engineering leadership.

Based onsite in Tucson, you will mentor engineers, manage budgets, and ensure on-time delivery of complex weapon systems while upholding rigorous quality standards and export/compliance controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 12+ years of experience.
• Experience in system development, design, verification, and production.
• Experience leading engineering teams and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical vision and production for StormBreaker.
• Ensure technical integrity and disciplined execution.
• Act as primary technical contact with customers and senior management.
• Coordinate with IPTs, factories, and partners.
• Mentor multi-discipline engineers in production.
• Support Export/Import compliance and EXIM processes.
