Job summary

Raytheon is seeking a Production Chief Engineer for the ESSM program, based onsite in Tucson, AZ. You will oversee all technical and engineering aspects of production contracts valued at over $2B, leading a team of about 120 engineers across multiple factories and suppliers.

The role requires prior multidiscipline engineering knowledge, leadership experience with large teams, and a Level 4 Raytheon Chief Engineer certification or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and 12+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams across development and production lifecycles.
• Strong system development, design, verification, integration, and production experience.

Responsibilities

• Chair Engineering Reviews, Configuration Control and Failure Review Boards.
• Provide technical leadership of Production and Sustainment engineering activities and issues resolution.
• Influence and decisions to meet customer needs and deliver positive financial impact.
• Establish and reinforce the program's technical structure, risk posture, strategy, and execution plans.
• Communicate across functions with LSE Industrial Partner and supplier technical oversight and customer TechRep.
