Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts in Wisconsin seeks an Assistant Store Manager to help lead sales, appearance, and daily operations. You will supervise store staff, work with the District Manager on hiring and performance, and assist in ensuring safety and training across the team.

Responsibilities include managing scheduling, payroll, invoicing, and KPI monitoring, delivering customer service excellence, and supporting store management in achieving profitability.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
• Must complete Assistant Manager Certification, Sales Specialist Training, and Manager Development Program
• Ability to read and match numerical/alpha characters quickly and accurately
• Knowledge of automotive parts, equipment and systems

Responsibilities

• Supervise store operations and team members involved
• Work with District Manager and Store Manager on recruiting, testing, hiring, evaluating, promoting, disciplining and discharging team members under supervision
• Communicate all information contained in Zipline and monthly store managers’ meetings to all team members
• Train new team members and conduct performance evaluations and recommend pay increases
• Assist in recruiting tasks, interviewing candidates, and collaborating with management to select qualified team members
• Support Store Manager with safety compliance and training across areas including customer service programs and required certifications
• Manage scheduling, payroll, cash management, store security and daily reports
• Maintain delivery fleet performance and appearance and monitor KPI dashboard
• Review monthly P&L with store manager and discuss opportunities
• All other duties as assigned
