Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, appearance and operations. This role will lead the team in servicing customers and act in the manager's absence or on opposing shifts.

You will help set goals, coach employees, participate in interviews, ensure staffing during peak hours, and manage daily store functions to maintain a high standard of service.

Qualifications

• Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification and RSS Certification are required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels at the retail showroom and ensure execution of service programs.
• Assist store manager with staffing, scheduling, coaching and training to meet goals.
• Assist in the hiring process including recruiting tasks and interviews.
• Ensure timely processing of buy online/ship to store, hub and transfers and notify customers upon shipment arrivals.
• Coordinate with management to ensure proper adherence to policies and procedures.
