Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance, and overall operations. The role will lead the team in providing exceptional customer service to both retail and professional customers and will manage the store when the Store Manager is absent or on opposing shifts.

You will assist in setting team goals, coaching, and participating in recruiting and interviews to ensure qualified hires.

Qualifications

• Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification and RSS Certification are required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels at the retail showroom and drive program executions like Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, and Rock the Lot.
• Assist the store manager in staffing during peak hours and in coaching team members toward training goals.
• Support in recruiting tasks including interviews and candidate evaluation.
• Ensure all inventory, returns, transfers, invoicing, and security procedures are followed according to policy.
• Perform store opening/closing duties and safeguard cash deposits per policy.
