Job summary

Total Wine & More—America's largest independent retailer of wine, spirits, beer & more—seeks an Assistant Store Manager for our Estero, FL store. You will drive sales, lead a shop-ready team, and ensure best-in-class service while upholding store standards and regulatory compliance.

You will oversee payroll, inventory, merchandising and shrink, while developing skills across staff and processes. Flexible schedule incl. evenings/weekends; paid time off and robust benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years of work experience.
• 2+ years in a managerial or supervisory retail role.
• Experience leading a sales-focused team.
• Familiarity with POS systems and inventory management software.
• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and meet key performance metrics.
• Recruit, train and lead store team, with development.
• Support store operations including payroll, inventory, merchandising and shrink.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and resolve issues.
• Maintain vendor relationships to support store objectives.
• Ensure compliance with alcohol sale laws and safety.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
