Job summary

Total Wine & More in Florida seeks an Assistant Store Manager to grow the brand by delivering exceptional service and creating a distinctive world of beverages for customers. You will support store operations and help build a sales-focused culture to expand the customer base and profitability.

You will lead, train, and motivate a team, manage inventory, and ensure compliance with alcohol regulations. This role emphasizes strong customer service and operational excellence in a fast-paced retail

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field or equivalent experience.
• 1-3 years of work experience with 2+ years in a managerial or supervisory role in retail.
• Experience leading, motivating, and developing a sales-focused team.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and deliver against key performance metrics (KPMs).
• Assist in recruiting, training, and leading store team, including ongoing development to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
• Support day-to-day operations, including payroll, inventory, merchandising and shrink.
• Deliver outstanding customer service by leading by example, fostering a welcoming store atmosphere, and resolving customer issues.
• Help maintain vendor relationships to support store and inventory objectives.
• Ensure adherence to laws and regulations related to alcohol sales and maintain a safe store environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
