Total Wine & More in Sarasota, FL is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to grow the brand by delivering best-in-class service and leading a sales-focused team. You will report to the Store Manager and help run day-to-day operations, including payroll, inventory, merchandising, and compliance with alcohol regulations.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, 2+ years in a supervisory retail role, and strong skills in leadership, customer service, and POS/inventory

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years of work experience, 2+ years in a supervisory role in retail.
• Experience leading, motivating, and developing a sales-focused team.
• Familiarity with POS systems and inventory management software.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and deliver against key performance metrics.
• Assist recruiting, training, and leading store team development.
• Support day-to-day operations including payroll, inventory, merchandising and shrink.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and resolve issues.
• Maintain vendor relationships to support store objectives.
• Ensure compliance with alcohol regulations and a safe store environment.
• Grow the brand by delivering best-in-class service.
• Support store operations and help build a sales culture.
