Job summary

Turkey Hill Minit Markets is seeking a high-energy Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager and lead a team in delivering an exceptional guest shopping experience. You will coach staff on guest service behaviors, assist with training, scheduling, and maintaining store appearance and cleanliness, while working to achieve sales objectives and uphold company values.

Hours include second shifts, weekends and holidays; full-time role with up to 40 hours weekly, requiring reliable transportation

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: High School or GED.
• Minimum Experience: 1 year retail or food experience.
• Preferred Experience: 1-2 years in retail, guest service or restaurant in a leadership role.
• Preferred Licenses/Certifications and Skills: ServSafe / Food Safety certification a plus but not mandatory.
• Soft Skills: Comfortable talking with guests and team members; high energy; ability to move quickly between tasks; team oriented.

Responsibilities

• Manages the store team’s Guest Service behaviors, coaching to ensure friendly guest greeting and making guests feel welcomed, appreciated, and treated right.
• Support Store Manager in building and developing a strong team with training, scheduling, coaching, and fostering a working environment aligned with Company values.
• Partner with Store Manager to achieve operational excellence and hit financial objectives on promotions, sales, and controls.
• Assist with store appearance and cleanliness, including coffee station, food service area, bathrooms, and stock levels to ensure in-stock goals.
• Support quality control, merchandising, safety programs and guidelines for successful food service; monitor product levels and rotate stock to meet guest expectations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Store Manager or acting in charge; comply with essential job functions with or without accommodations.
