Turkey Hill Minit Markets is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager and lead the team in delivering an exceptional guest shopping experience. The role emphasizes coaching, training, scheduling, and maintaining store standards.

The position requires high energy, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while ensuring 100% in-stock and clean, welcoming environments for guests. Evening shifts and weekends are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: High School or GED
• Minimum Experience: 1 year retail or food experience – must complete Assistant Manager Training program
• Preferred Experience: 1-2 year in retail, guest service or restaurant, in a leadership role
• Preferred Licenses/Certifications and Skills: ServSafe /Food Safety certification a plus but not mandatory

Responsibilities

• Manages the store team’s Guest Service behaviors, providing coaching to ensure guests are greeted warmly and feel welcomed
• Support Store manager in building and developing a strong team with training, scheduling, coaching, and fostering engagement
• Partner with Store Manager to achieve operational excellence, hit financial objectives on promotions, sales, and controls
• Assist with appearance, cleanliness, and stock levels; ensure coffee station, food service area, and bathrooms meet company standards
• Monitor product levels, rotate stock, and maintain 100% in-stock goals
• Perform other duties as assigned by Store Manager or in Store Manager's absence
• Must be able to perform essential functions with or without accommodations
