Job summary

Goodwill of North Georgia is seeking a Store Supervisor in Doraville, GA to lead daily operations on assigned shifts and drive exceptional customer service. You will open/close the store, train staff, and ensure adherence to SOPs and safety policies.

The role requires 2–3 years of retail experience, a high school diploma or GED, and forklift certification. Strong English communication and Microsoft Office skills are essential; weekend availability is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2–3 years of retail experience.
• Associates degree or completion of related retail management coursework preferred.
• Excellent oral and written English communication and interpersonal skills; bilingual a plus.
• Must be certified and licensed to operate a forklift.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Able to work flexible hours including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Supervise store personnel during assigned shift to meet operational standards.
• Open and/or close the store as key holder on duty.
• Develop, train, coach and support team members for career growth within the organization.
• Comply with agency policies and SOPs and safety policies and procedures.
• Greet and assist donors/customers; ensure customer needs are met and service is efficient and effective.
• Assist and resolve complaints and communicate issues to management.
• Maintain proficiency for tasks required in all workstations.
• Monitor and maintain store appearance and housekeeping to agency standards.
• Perform and assist in functions completed by store personnel.
• Support in maintaining all company records and reports accurately and timely.
• Attend all meetings and training as required by the agency.
• Transfer to any Goodwill of North Georgia store within the territory as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
