Job summary

Meijer Inc. in Ohio is seeking a store leadership professional to plan, direct and supervise day-to-day operations across departments. You will mentor and coach team members, drive customer service, and ensure operations meet Meijer's standards.

Responsibilities include staffing, selecting, hiring, promoting development paths, resolving conflicts, and maintaining store appearance during peak hours. You will reinforce the Meijer Friendly Initiative, promote safety, and uphold a positive company

Qualifications

• High school diploma or its equivalent required.
• 2-3 years of related retail experience.
• One year of management experience.
• Experience with rotating store departments (meat, bakery, produce, deli) is helpful.
• Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and analyze financial data.
• Proven ability to mentor team members and lead safety practices.
• Completion of required certifications.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct and supervise team members in day-to-day store operations.
• Mentor and coach team members; ensure customer service and sales goals.
• Staffing, selection and hiring to meet needs.
• Maintain store appearance and product presentation.
• Communicate the Meijer Friendly Initiative in team meetings.
• Ensure safe work environment; reliable attendance.
