Family Dollar Stores Of Texas LLC in Leakey, TX is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help with store operations, customer service and team development. You will assist in merchandising, opening/closing procedures, staff training, and maintaining store standards and safety.

The role requires the ability to manage day-to-day activities, support a positive customer experience, and ensure accurate record keeping and compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment and provide customer service excellence.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Assist in merchandising and transfer of merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Maintain store areas and ensure promotional displays remain effective.
• Assist in payroll, scheduling, cash handling, and loss prevention tasks.
• Ensure a safe, neat, and welcoming store environment for customers and associates.
• Train and develop store associates and support the Store Manager.
