Job summary

Family Dollar in Leakey, Texas is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help run daily operations, deliver great customer service, and develop team members. You will assist with store functions, merchandise flow from truck to floor, and ensure promotions and displays stay effective.

Responsibilities include opening and closing, payroll and scheduling, loss prevention, cash handling, enforcing policies, training associates, maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment, and

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Maintain promotional effectiveness of store-front fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, payroll, scheduling, and cash deposits.
• Maintain a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to company standards.
• Protect and secure all company assets including store cash.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
