Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Texas LLC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service and team development.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily store activities, helping customers, organizing merchandise, and performing opening/closing procedures. The role also involves enforcing store policies, payroll/scheduling tasks, and loss prevention, while training and guiding Store Associates.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives is preferred.
• Store management experience is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor as needed.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
