Job summary

Goodwill of North Georgia is seeking a store supervisor to lead daily operations, supervise staff, and ensure excellent donor/customer service. The role requires managing shifts, coaching workers, and maintaining store standards in a dynamic retail environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2–3 years of retail experience.
• Associates degree or related retail management coursework preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English; bilingual a plus.
• Forklift certification required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Able to work in safety shoes.
• Able to work in varied conditions (heat, cold, dust).
• Able to lift up to 30 lbs; able to stand/walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Supervise store personnel during assigned shift to meet standards.
• Open and/or close the store as key holder on duty.
• Develop, train and coach team members for career growth within the organization.
• Greet and assist donors/customers; maintain customer service standards.
• Assist and resolve complaints and communicate issues to management.
• Maintain store appearance and housekeeping to agency standards.
• Perform and assist in all functions completed by store personnel.
• Transfer to other Goodwill of North Georgia stores as needed.
