Job summary

Goodwill of North Georgia is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in daily operations. You will hire, train, and supervise staff, lead meetings, and drive customer and donor satisfaction while upholding store standards.

You will manage displays, merchandising, and cash handling per policy. The role offers ongoing training and potential opportunities to transfer to other stores as you progress.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of supervision experience with 15+ employees in food services, manufacturing, production or retail.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Sales, Retail, Finance, Mathematics, Accounting, or Economics plus 1 year of supervisory experience in logistics, retail, warehouse or related industries.
• 4+ years of military service with supervisory experience in lieu of other requirements

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in running the store, including hiring, training, motivating and supervising staff.
• Lead meetings, ensure customer and donor satisfaction, maintain displays and merchandising presentations.
• Drive the store toward meeting or exceeding budgeted financial performance; ongoing training is provided; potential transfers to other stores
