Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a store leadership professional to plan, direct, and supervise daily store operations. You will mentor team members, drive sales, and ensure customer needs are met with fast, friendly service while upholding company standards.

You will oversee staffing decisions, succession planning, training, and performance, with focus on safe operations and Meijer’s customer-first initiatives across shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–3 years of related retail experience.
• One year of management experience.
• Rotational assignments in other store areas are helpful.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and provide direction.
• Ability to resolve conflicts and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Staffing, selection, and hiring to meet staffing needs.
• Mentor and coach team members to meet sales goals.
• Maintain store appearance and product presentation to standard.
• Manage P&L, sales, and shrink targets for the department.
• Ensure safety and provide friendly, efficient customer service.
• Spend majority of time in-store interacting with customers and team.
