Job summary

J.Crew Factory is seeking an Assistant Manager to support a profitable business by building customer loyalty and leading a team on the sales floor. You will coach associates, drive sales, and help plan community events to boost traffic.

You will foster brand love, ensure strong product knowledge, and maintain high standards of service while adapting to store needs and scheduling demands.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of experience in a similar scope, specialty retail preferred.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong communication and decision-making skills, with data-driven mindset.
• Proficient with technology and store apps.

Responsibilities

• Be the role model for creating personalized connections with customers that drive loyalty.
• Observe associate performance on the selling floor and assist to connect or sell.
• Lead fit sessions that enhance product knowledge and fuel a style obsession.
• Help associates make the most of each customer interaction by sharing specific actions to improve outcomes.
• Ensure the team meets and exceeds goals and customer expectations.
• Own the selling floor and ensure the right people are in the right place at the right time.
• Be ready to step in for another manager as needed.
• Plan and execute local events that tie to the community and drive traffic and sales.
