Job summary

J.Crew Factory is seeking an Assistant Manager to join our store leadership team. You’ll drive profitability through genuine customer connections, brand loyalty, and hands-on coaching of the sales team to maximize performance.

You will also collaborate with the rest of the leadership team to adapt strategies for business success and ensure smooth operational support as needed. You’ll support the Store Director and Associate Store Manager, own designated areas such as Visual Merchandising,

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of retail management experience.
• Passion for brand, customers and teams.
• Stay current with fashion trends.
• Flexible scheduling including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Director to drive profitability and brand connection.
• Own division of responsibility (Visual Merchandising, Operations, HR, Service & Selling).
• Manage store operations, systems and technology with accountability.
• Assist with recruiting, training and development as needed.
• Collaborate to create a collaborative environment for all associates.
• Ensure the team exceeds goals and delivers best-in-class service.
• Lead product knowledge sessions to elevate customer connections.
