Job summary

PLS is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for our Jackson Heights location at 76-22 Roosevelt Ave, NY 11372. You will lead customer service, help meet store goals, and support the Store Manager in daily operations.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of management experience, strong communication skills, and a commitment to exceptional service. English fluency is required; English/Spanish bilingual is a plus. Flexible hours including weekends and holidays are expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of management experience in hospitality, financial services, retail, or restaurant.
• Strong ability to engage with customers and develop positive relationships.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Must be able to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• English fluency is required; English/Spanish bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining exemplary customer service and building relationships with customers.
• Establishing a strong customer service culture within the store.
• Assisting the Store Manager with strategies to meet goals and objectives.
• Recruiting, developing, and motivating store team members.
• Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Supervising CSR activities and cash handling in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Analyzing sales to increase and maximize store revenue.
• Marketing within the community to grow market share.
• Resolving customer complaints to improve satisfaction.
• Managing schedules, cash, and store audits.
