Lids Sports Group is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Durham, NC. You will lead store operations, drive sales, and deliver exceptional customer service while coaching a team through training programs.

You will handle scheduling, merchandising, and daily store management, ensuring policy adherence, inventory control, and a positive customer experience. The role emphasizes leadership and team development.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling issues and customer complaints when the Store Manager is absent.
• Lead store associates through training programs, goal setting, and regular follow up.
• Administer disciplinary steps with verbal and written warnings as needed.
• Foster a respectful, inclusive team environment and uphold Brand Standards.
• Schedule and staff the store, calling in associates during peaks when needed.
• Recruit and train store personnel in proper operations and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with policies, safekeeping of inventory, funds and property.
• Execute selling strategy to achieve KPIs and deliver exceptional customer service.
