Job summary

UDF-MyScoop Branding in Columbus, OH seeks an Assistant Manager to deliver the Hi Five Guest Experience and oversee a shift’s operations, ensuring safety and policy compliance. This role involves direct guest service, staff supervision, and store-level administration.

The Assistant Manager will supervise associates, manage daily tasks, assist with store readiness, and uphold quality service standards during their shift. Strong customer service and responsibility are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be legally qualified under state law to conduct alcohol and tobacco sales.

Responsibilities

• Manage other associates, coach the Hi Five Guest Experience, and train Shift Leaders.
• Handle store administration tasks such as ordering, weekly delivery reports, and paperwork.
• Provide the Hi Five Guest Experience to guests and maintain store readiness at all times.
• DipSide Guest Services: prepare shakes/malts, cups/cones, sundaes, sodas and hand-packed containers.
• Efficient operation of POS system and gas console, handling transactions and cash.
• Stock shelves, keep dip cabinet filled and presentable, rotate stock and check dates.
• Maintain security and cash controls, follow loss-prevention procedures.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized store and equipment; monitor temperatures.
• Accurate completion of time records and customer documentation.
• Other duties as assigned by Management.
