Carter’s Retail Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead a welcoming, inclusive team and deliver exceptional customer service for growing families. You will guide staff, optimize talent, and stay informed on product styles and benefits to meet business goals.

The role emphasizes coaching, scheduling, and implementing merchandising plans while ensuring a safe, engaging environment for customers and associates.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of retail or related management experience.
• A high school diploma or GED.
• Availability to work days, nights, weekends and holidays with at least two closing shifts per week.

Responsibilities

• Execute workforce management to ensure a genuine customer focus on the sales floor
• Welcome customers with a warm greeting and provide assistance with products and benefits
• Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive environment for employees and customers
• Coach others to success while maintaining service standards and omnichannel experience
• Analyze the business and drive KPIs with the team
• Partner with Store Manager on merchandising standards and promotions
• Assist in recruiting, training, and developing the store team
• Plan, track, and report on tasks and financial results using company tools
• Reduce loss through customer service and operational controls
