Job summary

Rack Room Shoes is seeking a Team Lead to oversee day-to-day store operations in California, ensuring policy compliance and providing leadership to the staff under Store Manager guidance. The role may be full- or part-time and focuses on achieving sales, service, and operational goals.

You will supervise POS procedures, inventory control, merchandising, scheduling, and training, while maintaining a safe and inviting shopping environment for customers.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and welfare of employees and customers.
• Create and maintain an excellent customer shopping experience.
• Maintain service level standards and provide staff training.

• Process POS transactions in line with policy; manage sales, discounts, refunds, loyalty.
• Oversee inventory control including shipping/receiving, pricing, and markdowns.
• Lead store merchandising and visual presentation to company standards.
• Assist with payroll control, scheduling and attendance.
• Develop direct reports and reinforce customer service standards.
• Support loss prevention and safeguard company assets.
• Gain understanding of day-to-day operations and drive store performance.
