Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist in Columbus, GA, to support store leadership in sales, customer service, and operations. The role may assume shift management in managers' absence.

• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in delivering excellent customer service.
• Oversee in-store customer service programs and processes.
• Answer phones according to policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store-to-store transfers, and notify customers of arrivals.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently according to procedure.
• Process returns and exchanges, issue refunds with correct payment methods.
• Invoicing for merchandise before it leaves the store.
• Coordinate Zipline messages and merchandising tasks as assigned.
• Ensure schedule adherence and proper clock-in/out per policy.
• Perform opening/closing duties and secure cash/deposits per policy.
• All other duties as assigned.
