Job summary

Family Dollar LLC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help with store operations, customer service and team development. You will assist with day-to-day store activities and support staff to maintain a welcoming shopping environment.

The role emphasizes strong communication, merchandising support, and compliance with corporate directives while ensuring a safe, clean, and organized store. This position offers opportunities to lead, train, and develop store associates in a fast-paced retail

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, interpret directives and communicate clearly.
• Retail store management experience preferred.
• Able to lift up to 55 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day store activities and operations.
• Help customers with a friendly approach and address questions or concerns.
• Support merchandising, stock transfer, and loss prevention.
• Assist in opening/closing procedures and back-office tasks.
